Sensible offers invited..must sell soon....Potential dressage / showing....JUMPING 2FT6 COURSE WITH EASE! He is a real gentleman that has a fantastic temperament and immaculate manners. He is an incredibly handsome lightweight cob gelding who is an absolute pleasure to deal with both in and out of the stable. Currently standing at 15hh, he still has a little bit of growing to do but it is unlikely that he will top 15.2hh Although he is just coming up to 5, he is a fantastic hack in the heaviest of traffic and he has been used on a number of occasions to lead other horses past things that are bothering them! Recently he guided a 12 year old cob past a flapping tarpaulin that was shielding a landrover at the same time as being overtaken by a double decker bus! He happily hacks alone or in company and doesn’t get carried away when he is out with others! He is never silly when his hooves touch open fields, even when his friends are ahead of him. He has been handled, ridden and looked after by novices (even non–riding ones!) and I often bare back him down to his grazing fields (to save my legs!!) He is a star to load, shoe, catch etc and although I have cliped him and i couldn''''''''t have asked for an easier better behaved horse to do, he even put his head down low to allow me to do around his ears. He is great with other horses in the field and he doesn’t have an issue with sprays (fly spray/mane and tail conditioner etc.). You can crawl under him or lay in the stable with him – he just loves people! His schooling is coming on well and he has been brought up the right way with lots of experience from an early age. You do have to remember though that he is still rising 5 and so he is still a little green when working in an outline and with his jumping. For this reason I would prefer him to go somewhere where he can continue his education. Spike is a sort that is hard to find and with a little more time and schooling will be a wonderful family allrounder.
