Show horse producer and dressage trainer, Jo Bates launches her new website - 25 Sept 2008

Show horse producer and dressage trainer, Jo Bates launches her new website JO BATES LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE Show horse producer and dressage trainer, Jo Bates, has launched a new website to help keep her owners, sponsors and supporters up to date with her latest news. As well as Bates Blog, giving updates and results in showing and dressage for both Jo and daughter, Holly, the site gives an interesting insight into the background of this very talented duo. Their combined talents form a formidable team offering the prospect of success for current and prospective owners. Jo first came to the forefront of the showing world as a child, riding and producing ponies for her mother’s Greenacres Stud. However, she made her name as a producer when working for the hugely successful Broadstone Stud, producing top show horses and dressage horses to notable success. Jo now runs her own training and competition yard and has built up a loyal clientele, maintaining her links with some of the horses she trained at Broadstone. Her versatility is demonstrated in her ability to produce top class show horses from hacks to M&M, as well as training dressage horses and riders. From her small but rapidly expanding yard, Jo has produced 3 HOYS qualifiers for 2008, including the large riding horse, Broadstone Dolce Vita, the small hack, Daldorn Legacy, and the fell pony, Townend Hamish II. Daldorn Legacy also stood Champion Novice Hack at the British Show Horse Association National Championships recently. Holly, 18, is a talented dressage rider, earning a TASS scholarship for 2008, and has recently joined Jo in the business having completed “A” levels. She has two dressage horses to produce for Young Rider competitions and will also ride some of the show horses. Jo’s talent is recognized by several high profile sponsors, including Blue Chip Feeds Ltd, Absorbine Grooming Products, and Los Clothing. “I have brilliant owners who have brought me some lovely horses to work with and I am delighted with the results that we have achieved to date. Showing and equestrian sport is becoming more commercial, and with the launch of my website I am able to offer my owners and my sponsors a little bit extra”, says Jo.
